The people against legal migration (Tea Party)are the type of people who fought with the same misguided passion as the ones who fought for the “Chinese Exclusion Act in 1882”. That was not that long ago, we’r talking about peoples Grandparents and Great-Grandparents, here. The Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 was in place until repealed by the still very restrictive, Magnuson Act in 1943. These Chinese immigrants did the dangerous backing jobs in mining, agriculture, canneries, fishing and lumber milling. They built the most treacherous sections of the railroads from the Northwest US to the rail head coming from the East Coast. This hard work went mostly unappreciated, because of the racism and strife, it provoked as Patriotic groups began to react violently to the Chinese willingness to work cheaper then the going rate. Newspapers at the time detailed, when Seattle mobs herded the city’s 350 Chinese residents to the wharf and onto a waiting steamship. Descendents of these immigrants can now boast of the first Chinese-American Governor and the Ambassador to China.

THE people who advocated this policy will go down in the annal’s of history as the greatest traitor’s the world has seen.AS the author has stated this act of treason goes back over 30 years and both partie’s are guilty.IN a time of record number of AMERICAN’S on food stamp’s and the highest level of unemployment since the depression to continue to promote this policy can only be interpreted as a act of economic warfare against the working citizen’s of this country.TO add another 10 or 2o million people to the workforce can only further impoverish the AMERICAN worker’s who have to compete with this endless wave of cheap labor.PLEASE remember and record the people who advocated this policy because when this is all over we are going to need the evidence for their trial’s for treason and sedition.
