…another thought. DHS buys 1.6 billion rounds of ammo and 7,000 AR’s. Why? To me it’s not a far reach to assume Obama thought his gun grab would fly but there would be resistance. A lot of it. It’s just a small step from that point to something like martial law. Tried to buy any ammo lately? Ain’t none or few and far between. Want an AR? Good luck with that. They are and have been flying off the shelves. If ammo arrives at Walmart it usually sells out in minuets. People are spooked. Go stand around the ammo case at Walmart and talk with the people looking at the empty shelves.

Eric claims he is a progressive who attempts to be a critical thinker on progressive thought, yet I consistently call him out on his relentless championing of Obama as if he can do no wrong.

The fact is clear, Obama has continued and expanded the invasion of privacy that originated with Bush.

I argued this with another ‘black man’ the other day. He said, “if you have done no wrong why should you care if someone has your data” :/. What?

Black people should be the most distrustful people in the world of the government spying on us. See Martin Luther King’s Hoover files, Malcolm X’s assassination, Marcus Garvey’s spy in the camp, etc. I am not even going to touch on the historic big brother oversite while we were in slavery and Jim Crow.

Yet so many Black folks are so willing to champion him because of his color, that they don’t hold him accountable even on the things that are opposing Black interest. That is why they have no credibility as critical thinkers to me. A true rationalist observe data without respect to their position and makes decisions based upon that.
