It is too bad that Ms. Picket doesn’t teach her daughter the opposite that she is to let her know anything that makes her think their bodies are not their own and “No” actually means something. Self-determination is in the heart, soul and the mind. This is usually taught by a person who’s parenting skills teach them how important they actually are in life. Everyone’s bodies, spirit, and mind are their owne domain that doesn’t take much knowledge to know this. As parents, it is our responsibility to try and help our children make good decisions instead of letting the mind domain run amuck like it doesn’t matter.
