Big Government is evil the only thing that saved FDR is World War II and the growth of the economy because of the military industrial complex, new technology invented during the war and the economic boom that came from Europe and Asia having to come to America for money and products (steal,building materials) to rebuild after WWII. If it wasnt for the rest of the world having to rebuild and buy nearly everything from America fueling the roaring 50’s and 60’s then all the deficit spending by Government during the war would have bankrupted america. Government did get incredibly hug during the 30’s but after the economic boom following the war people decided to leave low paying government jobs for higher paying private industry.

Your assumption that FDR saved the country is the most rediculous uneducated piece of crap I have ever read. If you truly believe that then you must believe “like some out there do” that the only way for America to emerge from it’s current 16 trillion dollar deficit is for another World War in which in the aftermath in a holocost world, America if it is still standing can force negotiations for it’s deficit or force countries to dismiss it’s debut all together and fuel a post war economic boom like the one that made FDR’s new deal seem successful. This is the only way current big government spending, taxation and over regulation can work.

Otherwise to see where America is going see:
Spain, Greece, Britain, France, Portugal,Canada (Quebec), and Japan…all of which America is following down the drain.

Please stop sipping liberal cool-aid because if you research every Democratic rand state and city in the country is falling apart and drowning in debut, simply put…a microcosm of the current state of Washington, D.C.
