I'd like to add a couple more points. One is insecurity. We do a lot of things based on how we feel about ourselves. If we don't have the proper thoughts And feelings about ourselves, we will make big mistakes based on what we think we should be doing, rather then what we should actually be doing, based on sound information. The other point is lack of support. Once white business men and some Black flunkies realize the potential of our athletes and entertainers, they are separated from us and this is done at a very young age, where they are vulnerable to the whims of these business men who only see these children as their next million dollar meal ticket.

I also have to blame the parents for thinking this way as well. Unfortunately, because of their lack of knowledge and resources, they hand their children over to these people. This is where the programming begins, which is not about being the best all around person they can be, but all about being the best athlete or entertainer they can be. This is what all these camps and record labels are all about. To program these people to be the best in only one area, in order to make the most money they can off them, in the shortest period of time .

We have to blame ourselves for this because by the time they reach 18, it will be very hard to change their minds by telling them what's best for them. We need our own camps, record labels and organizations that will not just think of our children as products to make money off of, but as our children who need to be taught in a well rounded manner. We have abandoned our children to be raised by everybody and everything but ourselves and when they don't turn out right, we blame them. This is a perfect example of the issues in Black community. We want to blame everybody for our problems, but when it comes to solving them, we refuse to admit we are the problem now, but we are also the solution.
