@Pat Black Enterprise Magazine is like any other marketing outlet paid to promote. Many of the featured owners are fronts for the establishment especially in the Construction Industry.

I am not a black man, a brown man I am. I’ve not been impressed with our democrat black leaders so far, where are the Malcolm X’s and MLK’s we need so badly now. And the general tendency to support anything black, like Colin Powell (ok half baked), Condi Rice and now this Rice. So I am so glad to read, like a breath of fresh cold lucid air, wake me up, hey, at least we have some great writers, and an avenue for them to write in. Now if only we can have more people with brains to write like this….

The author above did not even suggested who else in the Black community could be the next Secretary of State. It speaks volume!

I am sick and tired to see all the hurdles that Black women have. For instance, if you take a look at the top 100 entrepreneurs of Black Enterprise Magazine only five Black women own their company and among them Oprah of course. It is disgusting to see in every realm how the competence of Black women is being questionned. They don’t have the support they deserve to thrive in their own community and outside of it!!! It is unacceptable that we never had a Black woman on the Supreme Court as a judge for instance. I could go on and on. It is unfortunately true that Black women are doubly oppressed.
