Speaking louder and being less than truthful is not winning a debate nor is denying a dissent of opininion liberal. This author has lived in S. Africa and Nigeria. It is sad that he chooses to further divide America.

Excellent piece Sir. Maybe you have been in South Africa too long to realize that the media has abandon true journalism years ago. It’s all about ratings. Fox get their rating based off fear and Right Wing Shock Value, while MSNBC has more of a extreme liberal approach. So CNN trys to capitalize on those who want to stay neutral. But where CNN is at fault is that, they’re not neutral. They have swing now to the right because of the casting and personalities they love to hire as correspondants. Their cast consist of hardcore right wingers like Ari Fleisher & Carl Rove to balance out their extreme liberals like Donna Brazile (who has been kick off to ABC) and flamboyant Roland Martin who comes off 2Black N 2Strong. All in the stake of ratings. So Like their motto says “So You Decide”, I decided to care my ass over to MSNBC because my view are more liberal than bigotry conservative. Like you stated in your blog, Biden and Pres Obama won their debates soundly (well not the first debate), but CNN declared either a draw or it dont matter.. REALLY!! FOH with that..

OMG I remember back in the day when Ted Turner still owned CNN it was the place to go for national news. I remember watching CNN in 2000 for election night coverage, by 2004 I was on my no cable kick lol. By 2008 I was plugged back into the matrix, and I was really disappointed by CNN’s coverage. I gravitated over to MSNBC, which is admittedly super liberal. I’m not sure what really killed CNN, perhaps it was a victim of the 24 hour news cycle which ironically was created by CNN. Maybe its just the pundits on air 24/7 spouting nonsense. I dunno, but it seems that our political news coverage has turned into a sporting event, each side cheers relentlessly for the home team even when the home team plays dirty.

CNN is a joke though, like you I was disgusted by the CNN polls claiming that the 2nd and 3rd debates were a tie. I will bet my last dollar, that they are going to have to give up that most trusted names in news slogan real soon, if they keep up the Fox Lite, programming.
