Your comment really moves me and I am sure I am not the only one. Even if it is difficult with the mothers, you have to stay involved in your daughters’ lives. The other day I spoke to an adult brother. It was the first time I spoke to him and he opened his heart to me. He had tears in his eyes because he saw his father only twice in his life. Don’t let that happen. You have to always be there for your daughters.

I for one, have toaken the article to heart. I definitely know that I must do a better job raising my girls. All of my girls have different mothers and are in different states; not that I’m pruod of that, but it does make spending the time needed difficult. I know phone calls and gifts are not enough to have a great impact in their lives, but reading this article motivates me to seek different avenue to ensure I’m able to make time. It made me think of unnecessary expenses I have, and the fiscal changes I can make to support me spending more time with my daughters. I realized that I made excuses for not seeing them as often as I should have i.e. Their mothers are being hateful in not wanting to fly them to me or by placing me on child support; whihc hendered me from being able to afford the trips to spend time with them. I do consider myself a good father, and my daughters would agree, but that doesn’t change the fact that I must be present in their lives and as often as I could. Simply supporting them, and calling periodically is nothing close to what I need to doing. For your article I’m thankful, you have truely opened my eyes. God bless you!
