As a Republican myself in Florida, whose Lt. Governor is an African American woman, I find your presumptions erroneous. Frederick Douglass was a Republican. He received a vote for President by the RNC in 1888. Does racism exist in the Republican party? Yes. Does racism also exist in the Democratic party? Yes. Do you make valid points? Yes.

What can I suggest? Join the Republican party and let them know how you feel. We’d love to have you.
