In order to keep the ratings high not only are good performers needed judges that can pull in viewers is a must. So what a better person to pick than Nicki Minaj as a judge for American Idol? The fiery rapper is said to be in talks for a judging position on Fox’s singing competition, although neither the network nor Minaj’s reps had a comment on the reports.
According to a number of sources Nicki Minaj’s deal isn’t done, but inside sources claim that she’s “definitely” headed for the judges’ table. Nicki Minaj has been among a number of potential celebrities that are being considered for the position and it’s being said that Mariah is not happy.
Well we all know that it was announced weeks ago that Mariah Carey would be one of the new judges on American Idol. It’s now being said that this is not a done deal. Rather Mariah is chosen may depend on if Randy leaves and Nicki Minaj takes on the position.
This leaves me to ask. What will happen to Mariah Carey? Will this knock her out the box? Even though Mariah is loved by many, Nicki may have a few things up on her. Nicki Minaj is 29 and Mariah is 42. Nicki Minaj also brings on a whole different energy then Mariah. So you tell me who you think the choice will be.
Remember this is a numbers game and ratings are important. We all know that if you can’t bring in the numbers than you will be booted or in the case of the American Idol sent home. We’ll just sit back to wait and see how this one unfolds.

Dam right im watchin American Idol, because i luvvvvvvvvvvv Nicki Minaj<3! But in a way i dont think she should do it becuz when you start judging people, People get mad at you if u mad the wrong choice and ppl start throwing rocks and dirt on yo name. So i wish Nicki all the best<3
