Unfortunately, we as a people haven’t unchained the shackles on our minds to realize this most important point. There’s something wrong when we continue to rely on the same people who thought enough about us to enslave our ancestors for over 300 years with no reparations or compensation.

They then fought us tooth and nail to receive the same rights as them and now we expect the descendants who have benefitted from our misery and now want us to totally forget about our history in this country because everything is so called equal now, to be the ones to help us because we’re all Americans now. There’s something wrong with this picture. Until we come together as a people, we’ll continue to struggle and will never reach our full potential.
