Obamacare delivers millions of new customers to Big Pharma by increasing taxes on the middle class and raiding Medicare by $716 billion. Even the CBO estimates that Obamacare costs taxpayers over $2 trillion, leaves 30 million uninsured and does not address the skyrocketing costs of healthcare.

Romney says that President Obama took $716 billion from medicare and Romney also says that today’s seniors will not be affected by Romney’s medicare ideas. He also says that ONLY people who are under 55 would be affected. All of these assertions by Romney are false.

By way of Obamacare, Obama brought millions of new customers, in the form of patients, to health care providers. In exchange for Obama bringing millions of new customers to healthcare providers those same healthcare providers agreed to chip in some money towards paying for new benefits for today’s medicare-seniors, such as closing the doughnut hole. Obama used the healthcare provider’s money, in combination with some savings by reducing fraud and waste, to secure today’s medicare-seniors the new benefits, at no charge to today’s seniors. In a nutshell, President Obama used the millions of new patients/customers that President Obama brought to the health providers, by way of Obamacare, as LEVERAGE to get the healthcare providers to chip in to pay for some new benefits for seniors, at no cost to seniors. If Obamacare is repealed then healthcare providers will withdraw those new benefits to seniors because those new benefits for today’s seniors are something the providers gave (in part) to seniors as compensation for Obama bringing millions of new patients to the providers by way of Obamacare. Mitt Romney wants to repeal Obamacare and that will result in seniors losing these new benefits, such as the closing of the doughnut hole.
