Fatherhood is so very important in a child’s life. Not just in helping the son to become a man, but in also showing the daughter how she should be treated as a woman through the example of how he treats her mother. The father needs to show his son how to treat a woman through the example of how he treats his mother. That’s why it’s so important to have both parents together. We as a people need to really start working on our relationships with one another. There are many examples of successful marriages. We need to learn from the wisdom of our elders, instead of watching these reality and soap opera shows. This is the only way we can respect, support, protect, build, and love one another in order to build a strong community.

I pray that one day the family courts will recognize the importance of a afthers presence..as it stands women have rights to their chikdren while many men must fight for their children. .
