I saw a dire need, had motivation, and inspiration, and no fear of failure. However, convincing the masses that we can’t wait and securing their support is the greatest barrier. Unequivocally, we quickly toss gobs of money at many non measurable causes, but a vision to close the achievement gaps, and cut off the school to prison pipeline for black boy is a cause many have determined can wait.

The problem is people hanging out on the corner, not doing much except kicking a freestyle here and there thinking that’s going to make them Jay Z – it’s not.
