There’s this animal called a Llamas, now people raise these animals on farms to sale later on, big mistake to keep one for a pet because than they become to familiar and they will spit at you. I see people mad because boundaries have been cross, lack of respect lost, and familiarity breeds contempt! black people feel that this will happen to them next ,because it does start at the top and filter on down, just like the incident in Inglewood at a charter school last week a anglo saxon teacher told a young black girl to sit her nappy head self down , the mother was very upset because the black principle backed up the teacher in her remark ,because in his words the girl was bad, now where is the professionalism in all this , I’m referring to Jay-z ,West,Simmons in all this ,these are what the anglo saxon call Non Threatening Black Men , so you can call or say anything to them. So I say black people watch who you put at the top ,you say I didn’t put them there , yes you do everytime you buy download or watch the junk they put out , they may have started out ok but thats over they can’t keep living off that yesterday reputation ,these guys are not the same they are in it to deep like a drug ,so boycott them! and save this young generation invest in their education and spend time with your family build a strong union among yourself ,keep your private life ,social life, and work or business life seperate and if people don’t respect that ,than you don’t need them around you to close anyway.

It is ridiculous for anyone to promote the word “nigga”. The “nigga” lifestyle is not a good model for our youth. I have to agree with the author in that. Our young people should not grow up thinking that all this BS drinking, getting high, thuggin’ , and gettin with hoes is what life is about. There are many problems in the African-American community, in the entire African American “culture” , that are reflected in these “poets” lyrics. The shame in it all is that when I say “culture” I mean to point out that many African Americans have allowed all of our societal problems to define us as a people, rather than overcome these obstacles and move up, giving our children the same opportunites as children of other races.

We need to grow as a people and not only want brighter futures, but STRIVE for them, for our generations of black youth to come. Our legacy to the world is not rap and hip-hop; we have so much more to offer as a people. We should love and respect ourselves foremost, and all people, and stop idol-worshipping these “clowns” that think that they are the voice of the African American community. For those black men and women who make babies, be there. See that your children get the education that they are entitled to; and push higher education so that their own children have a better life.

Teach our young people the value of getting a JOB and being responsible for themselves. No one in this world owes you sh!t. It is too easy to sit and moan about being oppressed than getting off your behinds and doing something about it. The African American community should not accept our obstacles and limitations to define us but overcome them and enter mainstream America and make an impact.

Sorry for preaching but it really bothers me when we sit up here talking trash about white people and laughing at them for how they live, when most of it is fueled by jealousy. For real.White people are raised differently than most of us. Are they given opportunity. Yes. But they are (largely) given a lot more guidance too. We can’t expect other people to fix our problems. Jay-Z and Kanye got lucky- they do have talent but they’re lifestyle is very different from 99.9% of the rest of us, so why allow them to represent us. “Nigga” is not a word that boosts anyone and should be tossed out of modern slang. It is ridiculous and as far as Gwenyth goes, I hope she realizes how stupid she sounded.

What the hell? This is utter bullshit! The word “Nigga” is universal these days. Damn near every ethnicity uses it amongst themselves…it’s meaning has changed and so has it’s tone. You people need to calm the fuck down and do some history. People of color are the people that make the majority of the worlds population(African, Latin, Asian, & etc.). The original man/woman came from Africa(Land of Ham), and science has proven that even white people share the same DNA strands as everyone else. Stop playing the fucking race card when it’s convenient for you…with shit like this, we’ll never get past racism. If you really want fairness and equality, stop calling yourself “Black Man/Woman.” Black isn’t really a color…it’s the absence of light. Even if you do stop saying the word “Nigga,” you’re still sticking to a label that doesn’t represent decendants of Africa. So you all can go ahead a point the finger at “A distant decendant” of Africa which happens to be white, but you’ll never take away our accomplishment of turning a demeaning word into something we enjoy using with our people.
