Do I know much about Mary – not really
Do I listen to Music – Christian Only (not the NEW worldly Christian music – the old school kind)
Do I think the song hurt the black community – I’m honest to goodness laughing – and so is anyone in the country that has a modicum of common sense – smell the coffee time folks.
I think the black community has a whole lot coming out of the music scene that should give them pause and self-examination that has nothing to do with advertising Crispy Chicken.
Honest to goodness the Academics in this country are so Smart that they’ve become Stupid.
I think I’ll go buy a Crispy Chicken Sandwich to celebrate – maybe with some Bacon on Top – Now that would be good. Then I’ll say a blessing – thank you Jesus Christ for this food – I’m just dumb like that.

A wise prophet once said “the Media as the power to make the oppressor look like the victim, and the victim the oppressor”.

Here we have a brotha who loves Mary so much that he is being honest and speaking truth about her decisions and lack of responsibility with her power, and the response is “may everything in your life, that you love and care about be destroyed”?

Not only is that ass backwards, it’s sick. And i mean that literally. Our people are sick. The very food that they are defending (among other things) have infected us to the point that now we defend that chemically laced chicken or those pink slime nuggets.

Those with eyes and ears will see and hear what I am saying. For those that don’t, know that I am praying for you.

Ummm NO!! Mary has lead us to embrace that we do love and eat chicken just like every other race. As far as how its prepared; fried, baked, brioled, stewed…you will NOT place that blame on Mary. You take the up with KFC, Popeyes, and with your mama at Sunday dinner. You want to talk about stereotypes when you are contributing by assuming a black woman cannot endorse a chicken wrap ad. How obsurd is that? Since when did chicken become an embarrassment? Would a beef, pork or liquor ad have been better? Yes Mary got paid generously for her endorsement of a global fast food chain, is that what is really bothering you? I’m going to assume since you have such an issue that you don’t eat, cook, buy or order chicken at any cause and definitely not in the presence anyone else.
