Blacks are evolving and are becoming more and more like their White counterparts everyday. ( Remember when we did not have serial killers ) Look at you. Do you think you are the only Black in the U.S. who thinks worldly? When did you start? If you think you are, that would be arrogant. The ones still left in the hood in large part have not completely evolved but are impacted by Whites who are invading their space. Think about it brother, if you live in the hood or visit it regularly, are there not Whites comfortably occupying spaces/areas you never thought they would. How many family reunions do not have at least one White. So when you say we are not free, be careful brother about whom you speak? The only thing I see monolith about Blacks in large part is their suffering. You can still communicate to brothers and sisters as one on that level. While it may take a few decades, this will be last vestige of segregation to go, along with a few pockets of what will be considered wholly White suburban neighborhoods. The reason, the suffering is still monolith, is because when Whites in large part swing their economic fist, they can still hit a Black target. All of us have not figured out how to be like Ali’s yet.
