Be it right or wrong many blacks voted for Obama simply because he is black, just as many whites voted for a white man or woman simply because they were white running up against a black man. I do agree that all voters must observe and take into account a politician’s stance on various issues and even their rhetoric before voting.

As for using the N word I suggest that you. Mr. Time Parker be mindful of your environment when choose to use such a word. That is my honest opinion.

I voted for Sen.Barack Obama in the Democratic primary because he was black, as well as being the smartest candidate in the race, in my opinion. I voted for Sen.Barack Obama in the general election because he was a better choice then Sen. John McCain. I will vote for President Barack Obama in the next election because he is the better choice of any of the GOP candidates and he is Black.

Samuel Jackson is an ACTOR/ENTERTAINER (even that is questionable) not a political activist to represent the black communnity! Stop apologizing to the white mainstream because they can’t wrap their heads around something so simple. It’s unfortunate if white people miscontrued Mr. Jackson’s comments as a representation of the black community as a whole. I will not apologize for him to make white people feel “comfortable”. As black people we spend so much of our time crying for the lost.

As far as voting for Obama because he is black. So what? There are many people who chose NOT to vote for him because he is black.

That’s okay. . . since we are all being honest here, I am a “white” person & I did not & will not vote for Obama because of his blackness. I will also feel free to use the “N” word (as far as I’m conerned there is no monopoly on it’s usage).
