Interesting article that presented a great juxaposition politically and socially. However, I’m weary of any black male or female who is verbally active but commerically, politically, and economically poor in providing helpful solutions. Being the top streetcorner preacher is nice but does it always help the surrounding community? I, like many of the responders to this blog would rather see a sermon from these so called leaders than to continue to hear one.

Look up boule ..the true uncle toms..what majes the enemy so deceiving is he or she could be the person you think is looking out for u..why u think dr king,malcomx,are dead,the people they thought had their back turned on then in the end..black panthers leading us the truth about ourselves .what happens the feds put snithces in the organization to help them destroy our chance to be unified.them same snitches are high ranking in the feds now.stop always blaming white people,cause they got help from their black gaurd dogs(sellouts) to keep the agenda(to make all poor people black or white slaves).it aint about just race its about power over life ,mind,well being.

Of course many might not want to hear what a white
person has to say but Cornell West is correct. He may not be
correct on white liberals motivation but he is correct that
white liberals have no practical plan for poverty.
A practical plan is a million African-Americans
will be admitted into the labor unions not we will
fix the schools and one will become the president
of Harvard University and we will all feel better
about the plight of the poor.

all this man seems to do is low-rate his own MHP should divest herself of those gains she has made to support his narrow-minded agenda? truthfully this woman, within the frame work of her employment has become an inspiration to countless black americans, by her mere presence and policies of pro-black intellectualism. im late to this party as this controversy has just come to my attention but from the vantage point of the london olympics i’d say this ranks down there with the smack being talked about Gabby Douglas’ ponytail!

What can The President specifically do for black people, that would satisfy his critics in the black community. If there is something those critics wants done, they need to make that case to the black community and give the president something to push for, as long as its resonable and doable, considering the hostile House of Representatives and Supreme Court.
