Mr. Obama, Why should I vote for you?

This President finds himself in the position he is currently, because he forgot with whom he came to the party. Blacks overwhelmingly voted for this President and he has casually dismissed their plight of historically high unemployment. Instead of addressing the number one issue of the Black community, which coincidentally is the number one issue of the country, Job Creation, this President has embarked on a path of making rich vs. poor “his” primary issue. It will back fire! Why? The pain of unemployment and under-employment is real. It is not abstract. Some will vote for this man simply because he is Black and will not hold him accountable for his dismal record on Job Creation. It is their right to do so. However, where is their sense of responsibility? Some will not. Think about it, how can any community sustain double digit unemployment rates among its males above 15.0% and among its females, above 13.0 % ( these are the official numbers) for 3 straight years and now heading into a 4th year, continue to be vibrant and nurturing, influencing the lives of its young people? This is the state of Black America. This is their challenge. Will he address the issue of unemployment? We will see. His re-election may come to rest upon it.
