As an RN and former practicing Atty this is not as much about what is taught at home about sexual encounters as it should be about protecting our sexual health both men and women..As a PT (sane) and PHN i see men and women on a daily basis standing noutside of the HD waiting to be seen. When i see this i ask myself Has anyone at home ever spoken to thier children about death, sexual responsibility or how to say no? Protecting ourselves and others we care for is our responsibility therefore we must not even consider blaming our lack of courage and morality on slavery

As a teacher in public school and higher education, many of life lessons are learned in higher education. I have a son attending FAMU and pray everyday for his common sense when faced with sexual decisions with males and females. I have a daughter in high school and pray even harder that the lessons I tried to teach her she allows to rummage through her brain when boys and other girls talk to her about engaging in sex. Sex is not a game..
It is a dangerous situation more so now than ever before. In our local paper it states that Jacksonville, Florida leads the nation and the state of Florida in Teen pregnancy rates.
What does that tell you about parental responsibility and accountability??
