This fund is not going to Heavy D’s daughter, Xea Myers. I am Xea grandmother, Josette Lofaso. My daughter, Antonia Lofaso did not establish this nor would she ask for financial support as she is financially, emotionally, ethically supported by herself as she is a sucessful, honest woman who works hard and reaps the benefits by living a life filled with Integrity. As for the person who has established this for personsl gain financially , the words I send are shame, shame, shame in an endless game of dishonesty, desperation, dishonor and disgust.

I dont like comments in this article implying antonia lofaso had anything to do with this fund. My daughter antonia is sucessful and would not be involved in anything like this

I am xea myers grand father. My grand child and daughter had nothing to do with this and have not benefitted grom this at all!

heavy d was heavy and i know he had to be all about heavy cash. with that being said i have always felt the more people have the more they want. someone whom is not included in the process of the distrubution i callin the shots on begging from the public. sorry sole!

It seems as if many people are questioning the fund, as hopefully Heavy D had left his assets to his daughter. The other grim reality is that the fund isn’t for the purpose that it says that it’s for. We’ll never know. Thanks for checking in!

I was also curious about the fund. It seemed inappropriate and left a lot of questions. Generally, a fund for support of family is more associated with people who may not have amassed fortunes as Heavy D. I don’t want to past judgement because I do not know about his financial situation at the time of his death. However, I have said many times that black celebrities need to become more financially savvy. In fact, as a community, we all do.
