If watching our men die early and be imprisoned don’t move us; if watching our grandmothers, aunts and uncles die prematurely due to inadequate health care and education don’t move us; if sending our children to schools with inadequate resources and education don’t move us; if watching first generation immigrants surpass us in financial influence won’t do it, then what will do it? It’s impossible for many of us to even begin partaking in the Occupy Movement because the first place we’ll need to start is with occupying ourselves.
