WHY DO REPEAT FELONS AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS COMMIT MOST OF THE CRIMES IN THE UNITED STATES?

This article will inform the mind and startle the soul. For therapeutic reasons, I decided to write my books, {Hell Behind Prison Walls}, which is my autobiography about working 25-years in a Maximum-Security Prison with the New York State Department Of Corrections.

My second book, {The Devil’s Den of Prison and Justice} shows how our Justice System works and why the failing prison system along with our courtrooms have become a playground for criminal’s rights.

“Author, John J. Pecchio’, books and Website www.johnpecchio.com will show, “IT IS TIME TO ACT AND I HOPE THE DIVERSITY OF HIS TRUE, COMPELLING AND GRIPPING STORIES WILL BE A POSITIVE INSTRUMENT IN PRISON REFORM.”

Crime and punishment in this country are out of control. Many are in agreement with how lawmakers and prison bureaucrats are controlling our modern prisons and turning them into political arenas that now operates like a circus of shams and charades.

Federal and State Prisons have deteriorated to their worst condition in the history of these institutions? They have changed from being run with dignity and strong security into a hellish nightmare where corruption is the norm. With the loss of positive leadership in our prisons came the increase of prisoner’s power, primarily caused by their ability to hide behind highly-defended “Civil Rights”, which has now taken precedence above all else. These rights allowed them to live without fear of strong retribution for their actions, thereby leading to a breakdown in inmate behavior and resulting in riots, fights, and physical and verbal abuse of prison workers.

Each year our Justice System is costing taxpayers’ over $450 billion dollars to fight crime in this country and approximately, $50 billion dollars of that money is spent on Federal and State Department of Corrections.

After working in a maximum-security prison for almost three-decades, it’s my firm conviction that “The criminal mind never sleeps”, we have the most serial killers then any other country, and have the highest incarcerate rate in the world and in prison history.

Our Justice System processes criminals throughout our prison systems at taxpayers’ expense; and when incarcerated, the criminals continue to rebel against the system by violating prison rules and regulations, breaking laws and committing more crimes.

It’s appalling to watch our Judicial System is developing a capricious nature towards encouraging criminals to hide behind their rights, while they continue to violate the rights of others, is devastating and deceiving to the American people.

This newspaper article below is one of so many court cased, which shows how our Justice System is operating and turning their courtrooms into a playground for criminal rights. It’s appalling to watch how these same criminals are allowed to demand empathy and mercy while their victim(s) empathy is ignored at taxpayers’ expense.

BOSTON — “A federal judge on Thursday threw out a (death penalty) case against a man convicted of killing three people in Massachusetts and New Hampshire during a weeklong crime spree and has ordered a new trial. Chief U.S. District Judge Mark Wolf ruled that Gary Sampson was denied his constitutional right to have his sentence decided by an impartial jury and that he is, entitled to a new trial to determine whether the death penalty is justified in his case.”

“Aug. 2, 2001 Gary Sampson was arraigned in district court in Brockton, Mass., in connection with the stabbing death of 19-year-old Jonathan Rizzo of Kingston, Mass. Sampson was later sentenced to death for killing three people during a crime spree that year”.

“Sampson, a drifter who was raised in Abington, pleaded guilty to carjacking two Massachusetts men after each picked him up hitchhiking. He said he forced both men to drive to a secluded spots, assured them he only wanted to steal their car, then stabbed them repeatedly and slit their throats. He then fled to New-Hampshire, broke into a house in Meredith and strangled a third man to death”.

Now, 10-years later a new trial is about to begin. The same Federal Judge Mark Wolf is making the identical statement on Sampson death penalty, when he ruled “On Oct. 20, 2011 that Sampson was denied his constitutional right to an impartial jury and that he is entitled to a new trial to determine whether the death penalty is justified in his case.” The impartial jury that the judge is concerned about is the three jurors who gave inaccurate answers to questions during the jury selection, my question is, why were they even allowed on the regular jury trial?

While Gary Sampson was incarcerated for 10-years it cost taxpayers approximately $3-million dollars. Now he gets a new trial that will again cost taxpayers millions of dollars more to reprocess him back through our Justice System, plus, if he receives the death penalty again, taxpayers’ will have to pay approximately one million dollars a year to keep him on death row filling appeals that could last up to 20-years.
