I am a huge fan of New York rappers, but it is something about Jay Z, like he says “You could pay for school but you can’t by class” and that is just 1 of his few quotes. He always have a level of maturity that I admire as a black male. He is not messy, he avoids drama and unnecessary conflicts. He loves his people and cares about the well being of others. He his always positive and straight forward, he is honest and takes accountability for anything he feels he is responsible for. His music changes lives all over the world and he is a great influencer overall. He can not be replace. “Everybody wants to be Jay Z and Jay Z still alive”

Whoever wrote this article needs to take into major consideration that writing a rhyme is not the same as writing a song. The song Umbrella could have done without Jay-Z - The Dream still wrote a great song which is now an American standard. Jay-Z's involvement wasn't that of a writer.

It's become obvious now that the dust has settled that hip hop is not the art form that we hoped it would be. The artists are pretty lame and judging by what gets released, the talent bar is set pretty low.
