I think it is time for Black people to rely only on themselves. They have all the resources to do it: money(in the U.S. almost $1 trillion, etc). We can do it. We just have to be more confident, I strongly believe that. For my part, I understood that my path to freedom is entrepreneurship. Actually, I believe that it should be our collective path. The Jewish and Asian people understood it. It is time for us to do the same. I strongly suggest for our people to start with the book of Dr. Claud Anderson, Powernomic available on www.amazon.com. It is a Bible for Black entrepreneurship!!!

nice article. the way i see it, white people basically dominate because they became natural explorers and thus modify thru inventions, principles and etc. which makes them proves their superiority. and somehow black people basically got stuck in the notion of the inferiority of their color, which makes them vulnerable of accepting errands from white people. BUT WE ALL CAN SEE NOW THAT IF BLACK PEOPLE BECOMES NATURAL EXPLORERS AND THINKERS, THEY HAVE THE SAME STATUS QUO JUST LIKE WHITE PEOPLE NOW. best examples are Ali, Jordan, Mayweather, Tiger Woods, OBAMA and the namelists are still many. We Asians also have the same experience, though not same level as yours and we suffer minor discrimination also. I think what's important is what we can contribute to humanity. "Go out and get yours, no excuses… that will make your ancestors proud." (",)

Reading your article I really wonder what any white man has done to you specifically. The way you speak of slavery you make it seem like it just ended last week. I really dont think that the US is the salt mine that you make it out to be. I live in a metropolitan city with large groups of blacks from Central and South America, the Carribean, and Africa. Some, dont even have any master of the English language and yet find there way to colleges all over the country, get jobs, homes, etc.

These individuals are also black, lack language, and some are even here illegaly. My question to you is, if every white American was contemplating the demise of every black in this country, how did they end up doing so good for themselves. Please explain.

The bottom line is that yes, slavery was evil and ugly institution, i think most whites and any non black for that matter whole heartedly agree. But, you have not been enslaved, infact, many have died and suffered so that you might have the platform that you have to write devisive articles.

How about "man in" up and accepting that life in most cases is not fair, and yeah, some people may not like you because of your skin color, or for whatever reason you can think of. But, here you and I along with our children will have the same rights and access to education and other opportunities if you strive for them. Sure, others have a harder time, and others have easier time, but all in all, its there. I see it everyday.

And those individuals that you say are just concerned with "their freedom" are some type of sell out, maybe they figured out your game. Maybe those individuals are individuals because they like to think for themselves, and are self accountable.

I also have news for you, EVERYONE is loosing jobs, homes, livelihoods, etc. yes, the black community has been hit the hardest, but I dont think that there is any community that has not been affected by what is taking place in this country.

Maybe the answer is working with those that are interested in helping, and providing opportunities, education, etc. regardless of their skin pigmentation. In other words, maybe start with yourself, ya know that guy you see in the mirror everyday. Whether you realize it or not, you give "white people" way too much power, you actually place them on a pedestal with this type of perspective. Go out and get yours, no excuses... that will make your ancestors proud.
