Kyle, you would think it is all but over. But not one single vote has been cast in one single primary or caucus. Don't believe the hype. It is anyone's race to win. Anyone.

I would very much like Ron Paul to win the GOP nominee, but because the media ignores him most of the time, I have a feeling that the Republicans will nominate Cain or Romney. Which is a shame. Ron Paul is the best one for the job out of all of them, yet he gets ignored. Maybe if Ron Paul doesn't get elected President, maybe he'll become a cabinet member (hopefully)

Thanks, Brian. That is a good question. However, I believe he would have a bit of leverage. After all if the people say that is the person we want with his kind of policies, those who ignore the voice of the people would do so at their own peril. And the larger the plurality the greater the mandate he would have. But in any case there would have to be some sort of negotiation. By the way by next November I bet the tax structure will look a lot different than it does now and a many of the individuals not currently seen as culpable for the financial meltdown will be on charges if not already convicted by then.

Good Article and interesting response Tommy O. I am all for Ron Paul but even if he should win the presidency will he be able to turn things around in the direction he is proposing or just be able to slow the current course down as congress blocks all his proposals.
I imagine if and when he gets elected he will still need the people to start putting pressure on their electives as far up the ladder as they can.

I am thankful I learned how to use the internet so I could read your great article. We have let the leaders and media control the dialogue for to long and your great article has opened up an honest discussion of the issues and problems that face ALL citizens.

We are running out of time, and the sooner people realize that they have been manipulated the sooner we can get back our freedoms and control of our own destinies.

Please continue exposing the phony left vs right, color, class and other barriers the pundits wish to use to keep us divided.

Good, article. Boy I would love to see Ron Paul v. Barack Obama in a debate. It would be absolute devastation.

Financial Markets
The Economy
Libya, Afghan war, Iraq
Spending

It would be quite embarrassing for the sitting president...

Thank you, Travis, and everyone who commented so favorably on the article.

I think it is a measure of the unfavorable treatment that Ron Paul is receiving in the media that an attempt at a balanced, objective analysis was perceived by many as a piece written to support him.

Thanks all for reading and calmly discussing this article.
