Sadly, what is described is not trickle down economics but corporate welfare. Corporate welfare which is practiced by both parties hurt the poor and middle class. Trickle Down Economics is allowing businesses to develop and grow on their own. Lifting burdensome regulations and taxes allows all businesses from small to large to grow. As they grow, so do their employees. Wages rise and true unemployment drops. This has worked every time it is tried from JFK to Bush. The “wealthy” (multi millionaires to billionaires) do play by different rules regardless of the economic situation or laws. However, most of the economy is run buy small businesses and entrepreneurs. You will never tax the “wealthy” into poverty. Capitalism at its purest form works. Those that take advantage of it and hurt others end up loosing it all.

I can’t believe how much paper is right here in The Hood and how hard working sisters and brothers are spending every dime they earn plus loading up on debt to keep up with the Joneses. We need to start telling our money what to do through Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover plan which enables anyone to build wealth regardless of income.

By the way, the Total Money Makeover plan works, its not some get rich scheme, you have to have truckloads of discipline, declare war on debt and stop mimicking the Joneses “Broke People”!

All the government intervention won’t put a dent in the gap between the rich and poor until one gets a hold of oneself!

No doubt, I think we need to move away from trickle down to innovation up economics. Especially under globalism.

I concur,trickle down economics does not work! Capitalism, the “heart beat” of an entrepreneur works and is the driving mechanism of job creation if government stops micro-managing individuals’ lives and giving taxpayer dollars to their cronies which defies the principles of a free market society!
