Maxine Waters and the writer are both to be commended for what our “president” lacks the courage and moral fortitude to do , and that is to defend the community from whence he purportedly comes and a community that continues to be his most loyal supporters.

I will probably vote for Obama because I have nowhere else to go. But Obama’s conduct and neglect are abominable and inexcusable.

Rep. Watson and the Congressional Black Caucus is doing exactly what they should have been doing before the unemployment satistics got to current levels. It seems that the CBC can’t introduce any legislation that would help the jobs situation, as the controlling party is not interested in anything other then defeating Barack Obama in 2012. It is not right for a president to provide jobs for any single group, since he is the president for all the people. No one group is respondsible for his winning the election, it was a collection of many groups. The president can try to introduce rebuilding the nations infrastructure or switching our energy needs to renewable sources, but without the cooporation of the House of Representitives, of which the CBC is a part of, this is what we get. What needs to be done is to change the thinking of Congress in 2012, from stopping Barack Obama to introduceing legislation for the good of the people.

I do agree with Waters: Obama needs to find a way to make time for black unemployment. But my mind still blames former President Bush for setting us up to fail.

A friend of mine says black people are still going to vote for Obama simply because he’s black, AND even if all black people decided not to vote in 2012, Obama would still win.

Me? I’m going to vote for the guy/girl with the best jobs plan. This ish is ridiculous.
