I hate it, but I must agree 100% with Boyce Watkins’ analysis. He has hit the nail on the head, in my view. Now what? If the Repubs get back in, its REALLY curtains for fairness, labor, youth, education,public administration, and even hope. We need a Democrat in the White House for the next 4 to 8 years, if for no other reason than to make sure we don’t get any more facists on the Supreme Court!! We need to find a way to kick Pres. O in the ass, and reelect him at the same time, and tell him to quit bein a punk!! I still think there is hope…but what about the “AUDACITY?!

The problem isn’t Obama’s leadership style. The problem is the content of his policy ideas. He has broken all of his campaign promises. And there is absolutely no secret as to why he acts so beholden to crony capitalists. He IS beholden to them. It’s that simple. Obama cannot seem to understand that the Keynesian economics that is driving all of his policy decisions at this point is intellectually bankrupt. What he does understand is that it is making his big banker friends, the ones who will contribute millions of dollars to his campaign, a whole lot richer. Someone said 20 years ago or so, “It’s the economy, stupid.” I have actually begun to wonder — considering that Obama seems to do nothing but continue to throw good money after bad by following the advice of polemicists like Paul Krugman thus driving our economy further and further into the toilet — whether what we all thought he was capable of was just a mirage, and that he is an empty suit.
