Here’s the thing about Ron Paul and the other candidates, he’s the only one telling the Truth!

All the others, including Obama are bought and sold. Ron Paul cannot BE bought and that scares the establishment to death. So they purposely shun him and pretend ‘he can’t win’. They really fear that he can win, or why bother?

They can rig the votes, and have, but they cant deny a supermajority.
For those of you saying you ‘don’t agree with everything’ , this really doesn’t matter, because the rest of the candidates are lying anyway. At least with Paul you are getting the whole truth 100% of the time. That is valuable.

I’m very worried for the country right now, with all the candidates Warmongers and status quo keepers for globalist corporations and think tanks which are destroying this country and our prosperity , liberty and happiness. We really need a Real change, not the phony one Obama promised and never delivered.

Ron Paul is not a politician. That is most definitely clear, and that is why I think he is so endearing to many.

Smaller more efficient government, stop endless wars, bring our troops home and used the money saved to take care of Americans.

One thing we all have to be very careful about….the people in power are terrified of Ron Paul. They are so scared that if you look at headlines about the Ames vote, they take care not to even mention Ron Paul and he came in a very close second! Bachmann was supposed to get over 6000 votes, and this is a HUGE victory for Ron Paul. But not a word is spoken about him.

THEY never want a person who is actually good for YOU. THEY want someone who will be good for THEM. Someone who will keep the wars going. (Did you know Obama dropped predator drones on Pakistan his first 12 days in office?) Someone who will protect the banks. (They just did another round of bailouts that they kept very hush hush, but Bank of America got a huge bag of money when they bought all their bad houses for top dollar to supposedly rent out.) It never stops.

Don’t let them do this to us. Tell a friend about Ron Paul and have them tell a friend, and so on. It is really shocking when you find out how much they are trying to hide him. I guess they figure if they ignore him we will too. I am sick to death of being controlled by the people with all the money and power. I am fighting back. Ron Paul 2012!!

Ron Paul gets better with every thing you learn about him. I understand what you mean about the gold standard and why it sounds so strange, but he is not really pushing that. He is pushing for the government to back off and let there be competing currencies.

Why? What does this mean?

Right now the Federal Reserve (a private/public group of bankers) can print as much money as they want and give it to their friends (other bankers and billionaires) in the form of bailouts and tax breaks etc. When they do that, it makes OUR money worth less. When our money is worth less, milk costs more, gas costs more, cigarettes cost more…everything costs more. Each bailout costs US a lot money. If you don’t think there is inflation, you haven’t been to the supermarket lately.

So, Ron Paul wants to stop this from happening to us. If we have competing currency, where we could trade whatever we wanted with each other, then our pocketbooks wouldn’t be at the mercy of the federal reserve criminals.

Ron Paul just wants to protect US from THEM. And I don’t find that crazy at all.

As a liberal who once drove 140 miles to vote for Nader, and hated with passion the imperial hegemony of the Bush/Chenney regime, it has been sickening to see Obama continue and expand the Bush era wars, support for the illegal Patriot Act and having the TSA molest people, and hire nothing but Wall Street parasites as appointments that work in tandem with the criminal Federal Reserve. As Dennis Kucinch once stated so eloquently, “The Federal Reserve is no more federal than Federal Express”. All reasons why I am now registered Republican for the sole purpose of voting for Ron Paul. He is the only one with a proven track record of predicting the financial meltdown, and the voting record to back up his convictions. I might not agree with him on everything, but there is absolutely no other option than for us to collectively put our weight behind the only honest candidate. Choosing between Obama and Perry or the other RINOs/Neocons is like choosing between arsenic and cyanide.

Thanks for this article. I’m White, but my sister is half Black and my biggest disgust with Obama is in knowing that he has undermined the political potential for minority candidates for at least a generation. It sickens me to see the “if you criticize Obama you’re a racist” argument being put forward by the Democrats. What they are not considering, or perhaps not caring about, is that all this does is convince people that in the future they need to vote for a president that they can criticize, i.e., a White male one. Ron Paul believes in individualism, individual rights, civil rights and therefore he would never exploit people on the basis of identity politics the way the Democrats are doing (to Blacks, gays, Hispanics, etc.). Certainly Paul doesn’t support the graft the Democrats have used to buy votes from minorities, but he does support an equal right and opportunity before the law–for everyone, no matter their identity–to stand on your own two feet, on a level playing field, and to do your best. That’s a lot more than any of us, Black or White, have been offered in several generations.

Great article! Ron paul is the only reason why i watch these debates. Gary Johnson is good too.

I love how the media says the race is between bachman, perry and romney and no mention that paul came in second, CLOSE second and romeny was like 2%!
