Herman Cain's support of Fairtax is goofy. Anyone's support of Fairtax is goofy, because it is, quite literally, a hoax. A political bit of nonsense.

There is NO research, at all, to back up Fairtax. The "research" they claim is so "extensive" was done by Dale Jorgenson, and Jorgenson HIMSELF says, essentially, that Fairtax is goofy, and has distorted his research profoundly. SPecifically, Jorgenson says Fairtax's claim of a 50% take home pay increase is absurd -- his research shows the average person would have to take a 20% CUT in pay, that's right CUT, for Fairtax math to work.

Fairtax claimed a 50% increase in take home pay, vs. Jorgenson real deal, that such figures are nonsense.

And that is just the START of the goofiness of Fairtax. In Fairtax fine print, is a massive 800 billion dollar tax on GOVERNMENT --- 300 billion of that, which must be paid -- I KID YOU NOT -- in ADVANCE.

Footnote 19, in Fairtax documents, says that "Fairtax adopts a pre-payment approach to taxing government (wages and benefits)".

Can you imagine NY city sending in 1 billion in ADVANCE???

Sound crazy, doesn't it. Well it is crazy, and absurd, which is exactly why they put it in A FOOTNOTE.

http://fairtaxfineprint.blogspot.com/

Fairtax fine print is really amazing. Once you realize what these con artist and bullshippers put in their fine print, you will realize what a piece of work Farce Tax is. They don't believe it themselves, they know it's goofy.

I confronted Fairtax spokesmen David Kendall and James Bennett with what I discovered about the footnotes and fine print. THey CONFIRMED the fine print. They both said, in effect "SO WHAT?" Kendall said "I don't see anything wrong with asking city and states to pay"

Asking? They aren't asking -- they are hidding this utter nonsense in their footnotes.
