I wanted to comment on the Cosby article. You need to follow Mr. Cosby growth through his career he started out as a comedian then did the I-Spy serious along the way he got his masters in education which led to being a part of Electric Company during which he create Fat Albert(last I checked there were no cartoons of black people at that point) and as the years went by you can see his growth and with growth you gain the power to speak out on things. Obviously his personal life wasn't as rosey as it should have been and even unfortunate in certain cases. Your Fat Albert comment was very poor in your knowledge of the show and I'm wondering did you remember what the show was all about.

These were kids who lived in a middle class neighborhood and I believe most of the Cosby kids on Fat Albert had a mother and a father in the home. There was always a learning lesson at the end of the show. Bill Cosby got a masters in education and then a doctrine in education. His shows have always been about learning including his stint on Electric Company. Most of his tv shows have had some form of education. Now obviously his more adult movies like Uptown SAturday Night and Lets Do it Again were for adults but you get my point.

My point is Mr. Cosby is one of the few black celebs who was bluntly honest with whats wrong within our community. Its not like he spoke to a white audience and said it, he spoke to his own and pretty much spoke the hurtful truth. Its sad to ask this but have you seen another cartoon show like Fat Albert or the television show like the Cosby Show that had such a major POSITIVE EDUCATIONAL impact than those shows????
