I strongly believe that what happened regarding the discouragement Malcolm X received about becoming a lawyer is still going on. Teachers from the mainstream do not believe in black boys. I had to fight myself to get my law degree. They tried to do everything to prevent me to get it. I am a female but I believe they are making things even harder for our males to succeed.
