Even Jesus knocked over the tables and chairs in the sanctuary … as they turned it into a den of thieves, exchangine money instead of going there to praise God and feed hungry ppl spiritually and physically. Why are u living by those means, while you have ppl in ur congregation living in the projects and riding the bus. God is not happy with that. Everyone talking about if it was God.. well guess what this was God… he got tired of the mess and exposed it. God appoint kings and dethrone them. Eddie had more than enough time to clean up his mess.. and even when those accusers reached out to him he showed no remorse just like he had the nerve to go up on the pulpit after all the mess that church folk have to pay for in the end and not even give an apology.. Where is the humility? Trust me I will be surprised if that church is left standing. Paul wrote… follow me as I follow Christ. Also it is painfully obvious that the congregation and he minsterial team was not lead by the spirit cause they would have seen the mess and be praying for his deliverance. Yes he is forgiven, but he needs to sit down, fast pray and go before God… to get rid of the gay spirit becasue that mess is all over the church coming straight off the pew.

I wholeheartedly agree with the writer’s point on Eddie Long’s lack of humilty. Some ppl just dont get it. There is no reason regardless of whether or not he admitted to do what he was accused of the bottom line he should have humbled himself and sit himself down in a pew somewhere. He has more than enough Pastors/Ministers who could have ministered a very good message “perhaps one on forgiveness. This would have been a great time for Eddie to apologize to the congregation for the embarrassment he brought on them. Always remember to every bit of a rumor there is some truth to it. He should have lapped his tail and go sit somewhere or even go on a sabbatical… and fast and pray and kneel before God and seek his face. Yes I forgive him because I am not God but what disgusts me is the blatant slap in God’s face. This is why we are in the mess in America…… We are to lead by example and that does mean humbling ourselve and apologizing on what all that mess cost. Embarrassment to the christian community.

I know “MC Norman” is he is the oldest deacon in the church. Its a shame that people want to get on here and say things about this man. People are trying to drag him into this and he has nothing to do with any of this. Next so many of you people are talking about Bishop Eddie Long and have come with your comments and pointing of fingers….

Most of you seem to have a problem with this church right now. My question is what is your solution to fixing the problem? People have attended a church for years and they all very confortable with this place of worship. Tell me how can somebody just walk away from a church like this.

Tell me this and I will come back looking for all of you to reply on my message. I have persoanlly visited other churches but its just not me…. The people attending the church make me feel welcomed. I have been to other churches and they mistreated me there. The people were nothing like the people in the NewBirth church. The people in this church are warm and loving there. They make me feel welcomed in their church. NewBirth people are very special people…Now on to the Bishop Eddie Long thing…I know people in my family who did nothing and they got locked up for years and did all of this time for nothing. The truth just came out they didn’t break any laws…

They got a sorry from the state..Lets face it our court systems are not perfect….I personally got into trouble and the lawyer told me to take the peal bargin and I didn’t do nothing….I was forced to listen to my lawyer. I told him I didn’t do anything but he said take the plee and go home….Most importantly please hear me…

Do not judge the people the people didn’t do anything….Your trying to punish the people of the church and they are just as loving as they can be….You see alot of you people watch NewBirth on television but never been there…The people of NewBirth are the warmest people I know..I challenge you to finding all of us a better church…(Respond I beg of you) do you have a church for all of us? Will I feel the love in your church?

What type of church are you running do you think that you can do better? NewBirth is in homeless shelters,ministering on the streets and praying for people…Tell me what are you doing? whats the name of your church? Whats your website…Leave your email address cause if your church is all of that where is it? Please reply and don’t curse me out remember you saved so you need to act like it.

Where did I say all churches? I didn’t. I didn’t say that all churches have pastors involved with sex lawsuits with male members either.

But this church does. This amalgam of churches under the New Birth banner does.

I disagree with your statement: ‘Churches are now trying to turn a profit in the gaming industry?’. That is completely untrue. Not all churches profit from gaming. Not all churches are in the wrong. There are many churches that are Christ centered.

After listening to all the facts as they were presented on this show you wonder are the members of New Birth Church family being brainwashed. What will it take for this congregation to realize their pastor is not ever going to allow himself to admit maybe he has homosexual tendencies…You can’t fix what you will not ACCEPT!

Well know one can really say they were surprised, can they. But many questioned whether this was a PREACHER UNDER ATTACK OR JUST BEING EXPOSED, well I guess we finally got our answer. Last year on internet radio show Center Stage they covered this very topic, and it appears they were 100% on point. This is for the new birth members and all the other Christians. I am a believer. But I am not blind. If Eddie Long was your father, your husband, your brother, even your best friend what would you say to him? Better yet what would Christ do to him? What did Christ who operated under the new covenant say to the pharases and the leaders of the church?

Forgiveness is not without reaping. Saints and believers who hide behind politics and legal jargon need accountability. The excuse that “nobody’s perfect” and “judge not” are scapegoats for people who follow false teachers, prophets, and leaders. In the last days there will/are many false teachers. And many blind followers. Revelation speaks of many nations being deceived by new age “religion” where sin is considered not sin at all. New birth believers, do you really think the YHWH, the God whose eyes never shut sees even Eddie Long? If you are a believer, you know homosexuality is an abomination Romans 1:1-17.

Your leader has partaken in an abominable thing, which we can deduce from the actions of both parties. New Birth members say ” you don’t know the whole story.” Well, I never lived in a concentration camp either. But we all know that over 12 million Jews were annihilated by people who blindly followed a man who claimed to become a world leader. Your church may stand physically, but There is One who is coming to judge the church.

You better take a good look at who side you are fighting on. The wheat will be separated from the chaff. Instead of defending or opposing Eddie Long, Choose Christ and trust no man but God.
