I am glad that he has his children. It can be hard out here. Some women make it the job harder. I think older men need to reach out to younger men, and be a support system to them. If there were more older men willing to reach out then maybe some of the younger men would know what to do. Being a father is a big responsibility, getting the man first through education and then a career so he can choose a proper wife. I tell my son all the time, wait before you have a child. Finish school and then make sure you check the woman out. Not every woman is worthy to have a child with. The one who is worthy you marry and have a good family with.

I think the anger some black women have towards men damages their son's.I don't his status as regards cheating on his wife. Everybody makes mistakes, he still can be the best man he can be for his children. Flaws and all, hopefully he teaches them morality.

I'm happy for Wade - in a way- but I do think Wade wants to have his cake and eat it too.

The boys have remained in the mothers care for all of these years, even when he got temporal custody. She was safe enough to keep them in Chicago when he was on the basketball court and courting Gabrielle Union.

Now, he wants to relocate them and throw them to a team of Nannies?

I'm sorry but he's not raising those boys and their mother was stable enough to have them all this time, why not let her keep them?

No, Wade wants to have his cake and eat it too. He has a team of nannies for those boys and gets to play his basketball and chase Gabby around the Country but wants to privilege of having his boys whenever he wants them.
He won't be taking anymore care of them than he would be if she had them. Yes, he will giving them financial support but at the end of the day, Wade is the same as other non-custodial black fathers.

He won't see them day in and day out. He won't care for them day in and day out and he will have the luxury of doing what and who he wants without having the responsibility of a REAL father.

The only difference is that his sons are waiting for him at home when he decided to be a father and actually care for them.

Something their mother has been doing for years now and up until Friday-the day of the ruling- would have continued to do.

Sorry but that's not something I can side with. I'd rather see his sons with their mother than to be thrown to a group of nannies and see their mother and father on a semi-weekly or daily basis.

Even kids with nannies have at least one parent to come home too. These kids get daddy on certain days and mom every other weekend.

Over the last two years, an image of Wade’s ex-wife, Siohvaughn, has emerged as a woman who physically abused the NBA superstar. She accused Wade of passing on to her a sexually transmitted disease, not spending enough time with their children, and of adultery.

----------------------------------

but he did commit adultery. he was openly cheating on her with Gabrielle union. so lets hope he doesn't teach his "SONS" that its ok to be married with a girlfriend on the side. d wade is no ones role model.
