the answer is simple…BLACKS DONT VOTE!! until politicians see the black vote, as a group of people worth keeping happy, we will never get respect. there are too many blacks who belive that voting DOESNT MATTER, or are just too lazy to pay attention.

i find it hilarious that black people can complain about the govt, yet wont take the time to understand how the govt operates, and why we are on the bottom of the totum pole…

Our ancestors already worked from sunup to sunset for 300 years, plus another 100 years of Jim Crow for those 40 acres and a mule. How do you think this country got to be so wealthy? As far as the welfare you talk about, if you add up all the tax write offs for the wealthy and corporations, that is a lot more than the crumbs poor people receive in benefits. I do believe Black people need to stop relying on the government because they will never receive what they really need and that is the opportunity to learn how to do for self and control their community, instead of making us dependent on them, which a lot of us were programmed to do.

Because too many black folk are in the system on those welfare type programs, and all the rest of the hand-outs that come with it!

Black people need to stop waiting each month for those checks and get up and do something for themselves!

So many are sitting around with the “do something for me” mentality, waiting on our President to “do something for them”.

If it is justified and truly needed then most can understand that, but we have far too many who can go to work (at something), or do many other things (legally) to earn monies.

If you want your 40 acres and your mule, then get it for yourself.
