(ThyBlackMan.com) It’s no secret that mobile gamers has been on a hot streak since Fornite was released last year and the number of people who play mobile games from either The Google Play Store or The Apple App Store has definitely increased dramatically over the past decade.

Here now are top 5 current mobile games that gamers should play.

Langrisser Mobile – Langrisser Mobile continues the long standing tradition of providing quality strategy RPG games that relies on careful planning and preparation in order to take down your opponents and to prevent them from defeating you. Unlike Fire Emblem Heroes, this game also has better customization options for your character and your character’s troops, better strategic planning that helps you to figure out what your strengths and weaknesses are, and the game has a much better way to level up with XP potions unlike Fire Emblem Heroes where you have to battle so many times to level up. I definitely recommend gamers to try out this amazing mobile game.

Dragon Ball Legends – There are several significant things about the Dragon Ball Legends mobile game that makes this game different from Dokkan Battle in several main ways:

1) In Dragon Ball Legends, PVP has been implemented and we can definitely enjoy the fun of having intense competitive matches not only against other players, but you can also hook up with your friends and play against them too and I have to say that playing against your friends and other players is much better than playing against random CPU opponents all the time.

2) In Dragon Ball Legends, the shiny diamond thing on the cards is nowhere present and you can also trigger certain effects on certain cards like when you rotate your phone a bit while on a Super Saiyan Adult Gohan card, you’ll see a amazing shot of The Family Kamehameha from Broly: The Second Coming which is absolutely badass and it’s one of my favorite “SPARKING” cards in the game so far.

3) The gameplay in Dragon Ball Legends, you get to choose 4 cards on the screen between healing, punching, shooting ki blasts, and firing off a super attack. Players can also swipe on the screen to dodge forward, backward, and sideways. Now players, can do a shoulder block by tapping the screen one time. One of my favorite things about the gameplay is when an enemy tries to attack you and you attack at the same time, there’s a clash mechanic in which both players see a meter and try to tap it when it’s full and the player with the biggest meter wins the mini game. And not to mention another one of my favorite gameplay mechanic is when after you select 7 cards with dragon balls on them, the phrase “Rising Rush” will appear on the screen and if you select one of the 4 cards that beats out the opponent’s card, then all three characters will fire their super attacks which about 85 to 90 percent of the time leading to your opponent getting KO’ed.

4) In Dragon Ball Legends, the voiceovers are very present in the form of our favorite voiceover actors from Sean Schemmel (Goku) to Chris Sabat (Vegeta) when you hear right before the super attack in particular, you hear the names of Galick Gun and Kamehameha. I’m actually glad that they implemented this feature into Dragon Ball Legends.

5) One of the things that I absolutely love about Dragon Ball Legends is that the stages are in a 3D environment and the characters are in 3D which is very similar to what players see in the Xenoverse series and the 3D stages in this game look absolutely beautiful from the mountains, the plains, to Planet Namek. And of course the 3D character designs like my favorite one Vegeta with the scouter from The Saiyan Saga in particular looks so badass. The 3D character art for this game is so amazing for a mobile game.

Sega Heroes – Sega Heroes is a typical match three type of puzzle game like Bejeweled and Candy Crush, when you match three of the same color jems like if you match three red stones, then the character representing red will attack the enemy either at random or the one you selected to be attacked by your character which can lead to having enough There are also other cool things that happen when you also match three same color jems: Matching four of the same color jems turns it into a star jem that can only be matched with two other same color jem to initiate a special attack called “Star Skill” which dishes out a huge amount of damage against one enemy or multiple enemies depending on the type of “Star Skill” that your character has.

Evertale – Evertale is a hybrid mixture of Pokémon and Final Fantasy into one video game. Not only can you catch and train monsters to get stronger in Evertale, but the battle mechanics in this game remind me of the old turn-based RPG games like Final Fantasy that I used to play many years ago. In Evertale, every character from monster to human starts off with a few skills to use such as the first monster I caught can not only poison enemies, but can also dish out extra damage while those same enemies are poisoned and I absolutely love dishing out extra damage to enemies that are either sleep or poisoned in RPG games. When you level up as in any RPG game, you also learn new skills along the way. You definitely have to use these skills very carefully because each one takes a certain amount of time to perform. For example, if you choose “Attack All”, it will be about 250 seconds before your character can use another skill to perform. This mobile monster battling game is a must have for new or experienced gamers.

Super Mario Run – Super Mario Run for mobile has been out on the Play Store and App Store for about over a year and the gameplay is similar to the old mid 80s – early 90s Mario games that a lot of us grew up playing. The gameplay of Super Mario Run is basically Mario running continuously on screen without stopping while jumping and defeating enemies like the goomba and paratrooper and getting coins to build the mushroom kingdom into whatever you see fit which includes making beautiful decorations for the castle. The mobile game also has a nice mode called “Remix 10” which is basically a remixed, shorter version of the current stages you have to pass in order to move to the next world. Overall, this is a very fun mobile game that Mario fans like myself should definitely check out and enjoy.

The Conclusion – I am definitely excited for the future of mobile gaming because of the amazing potential and growth for mobile games and the mobile gaming companies that make them.
