(ThyBlackMan.com) Samsung Galaxy S10 has some interesting new features and design changes “because you deserve more.” That punchline comes from a 25-second long teaser video released by Samsung that’s set to unveil its new smartphone, the Galaxy S10, on February 20.

Recently we saw leaked images of all the three models of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and now with this teaser, it has become very clear that Samsung is set to wow fans during the Galaxy S10 launch event. If the leaked information is correct, here’s a list of all the Samsung Galaxy S10 features.

More powerful battery

For the Galaxy S10, Samsung will increase the battery power by 500 mAh. So if we compare it with the Galaxy S9, the S10 will feature a 4,000 mAh battery. Samsung won’t stop here. The company is also improving fast charging on its phones and as a result, the charging speeds will be increased to up to 22.5W from 15W. This is something hardcore Samsung fans have been waiting for. Samsung has not made any major upgrade in battery since the Note 7 which was launched in 2016.

Punch hole display

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will be available in three variants – the Galaxy S10E, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 Plus. These names come from a tipster on Twitter so the final products can be launched with different names. Some other reports suggest that one of the three models will be called S10 Lite so it remains to be seen. The leaked images of the Galaxy S10 show punch hole display which means there will be a pinhole notch at the top right corner of the display.

Dual-lens front camera (Plus model)

The Plus model will have a dual-lens front camera while the other two models will sport a single-lens front-facing camera. On the back side of the S10E, a dual-lens camera is visible and on the high-end models, triple-lens camera setup is available. It’s too early to comment on the megapixel counts. We will wait for the official announcement to get clarity on this part.

Hardware improvements

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. In the leaked images, the fingerprint sensor is not visible on the back side. This design upgrade was already in demand and last year, some reports claimed that Samsung tested the feature in the Galaxy S9 but later the company decided to keep it reserved for the Galaxy S10. There were some technical challenges associated with this change, but now when Samsung has completely changed the display, we expect to see the feature in the new smartphone.

Samsung is known for using the most advanced chipset in its premium range of smartphones. The company will most likely use the new Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9820 chips in the Galaxy S10 to ensure the new lineup will beat the last year’s Galaxy S series smartphones in terms of performance.

Samsung Galaxy X launch

Samsung is working on a foldable smartphone called Galaxy X and during the February 20 event, the company is expected to launch the new phone. Samsung has not officially confirmed the specification details, but according to reports, the Galaxy X will feature 1TB of storage and 12GB of RAM. The claims about the smartphone’s memory are questionable because we really don’t see any strong reason as to why a smartphone-tablet hybrid needs 12GB of RAM. For those who don’t care about the price and want the latest tech, the Galaxy X wouldn’t be a big thing, but convincing regular consumers buyers be easy for Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is probably worth waiting for, but now we don’t have to wait any longer because, as noted above, the company will host an event on February 20, 2019, to show off its new phones. We will follow the February event minute by minute and provide updates.
