(ThyBlackMan.com) I often hear the term “pro-black” thrown around like it’s supposed to be a thing, but one of the biggest issues that I have with that term is that it’s become a marketing trend that’s been exploited by big white corporations like Nike & Pepsi.

Here are top 5 reasons as to why I hate the term “pro-black” based on actual observations from social media and online.

1. It’s Become An Exploitative Cash Cow For Parasitically Opportunistic Black Capitalists – One of the main reasons of why I deeply resent this term so much is that it’s basically being used nowadays as an exploitative cash cow for notorious parasitically opportunistic black capitalists in our community today like Umar Johnson, Tariq Nasheed, Brother Polight and including those in the mainstream like members of BLM like Deray and Colin Kaepernick.

2. Pseudo-Conscious Dudes Use It To Hide Behind Their Hatred Of Other Black People – Another one of the main reasons as to why I hate the term “pro-black” so much because it had breeded these pseudo-conscious guys in our community that do absolutely nothing for our community, but sit behind a computer all day and spew their hatred for other black men as well as black children and even other groups of black people and especially women. I have seen many posts on social media and videos online in which these pseudo-conscious guys like Tariq Nasheed and Robert Perkins have often voiced their extreme disdain for black women. Then there are pseudo-conscious guys on social media and online who often hide behind the “pro-black moniker” to not only openly express their hatred, but also encourage discrimination and violence against other groups of black people including black women.

3. It Breeds Opportunistically Greedy & Corrupt “Organizations” In Our Community – There are plenty of so-called “pro-black” organizations in our community like NAACP, BLM, and The Uhuru Movement that claim to be fighting for the “interests of black people“, but in reality they are notoriously greedy opportunists (who are mostly funded by white people) who hide behind the “pro-black” moniker that doesn’t really do too much of anything for our community, but opportunistically enrich themselves at the expense of the masses of black people who are poor and working class black people.

Early this year, former Uhuru members actually exposed The Uhuru Movement as an opportunistically greedy and corrupt organization by saying, ” “Everything we did was always something that made profit for the movement itself. “Things like Africans Charge Genocide, which I worked hard to get as many contacts as I could for were just used to promote events instead of what they were actually originally intended for.” “I have personally seen on many occasions the party raising hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars at singular events, but the members barely had any idea where or how the money was being invested.”

4. It Breeds Too Many Social Media “Revolutionaries” – One of the biggest things that I don’t like about the “pro-black” term is that it has breeded one too many reactionaries and social media “revolutionaries” that won’t go out into the community to fight for the interest of our community including fighting for the right to be a self-determined group of people, but instead what these reactionaries and social media “revolutionaries” do is spew their often condescending and irrationally anti-intellectual garbage down your throats and then comment on things like a meaningless stupid feud between Nicki and Cardi that have absolutely nothing to do with the issues that are currently affecting our community.

5. They Are Among The Biggest Cyberbulles – One pf the main reasons as to why I don’t like the “pro-black” term is because of the fact that a lot of these so-called “pro-black” people often bully real intellectual black folks into accepting their often negative, hypocritical, and condescending views about issues that affect our community. When we refuse to accept their irrational and condescending views as one former UM member commented, “You spend all of your hours on social media ganging up on people who don’t completely agree with you.”

The Conclusion – The point that I wanted to make in writing this article is to say that not everybody or organization in our community who claims to be “pro-black” is NOT “pro-black” because they use it as a ploy to exploit our community and express hatred for their own people.

    TO THE AUTHOR:
    AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE NOT BLACK

It amazes me how many of you are still brainwashed to call yourselves BLACK. Black is not an identity and scientifically black is not even a color. It is next to nothing. Black is the “color” of your car tires, not your skin. The white oppressive slave trader called you black and himself white to set up a contrast and to attach negative images and denotations to you based on a lie about color. Look up BLACK in the dictionary.

Research even shows that blacks are perceived by other groups as very different from African Americans. But we still keep calling ourselves what someone else defined us as, what we are not and what has a negative dictionary denotation in society. WAKE UP. LOOK AT THE REAL COLOR OF YOUR SKIN. YOU ARE NOT BLACK. You are an African American. The lie of calling us black and defining us by color (the wrong color) has been in place so long that our people accept it as truth – but it’s not. Know your colors.

Native Americans do not allow others to call them red men. Asians do not accept being called yellow men. Hispanics do not answer to “what’s up brown man”. And Caucasians are not white, notebook paper is white. Wake up and see the plan where white racist supremacists plotted to redefine our people from Africa. STOP CALLING YOURSELF SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE NOT!
    AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE NOT BLACK.

Black is the “color” of your car tires, not your skin author. Being called “black” is a lie and it should be offensive. Haitians, Jamaicans and even Africans do not accept being called “black”, Why do you think that is? They are identified by tribes, klans, geographic areas and their respective countries. By using the very term black to describe us, we are doing the following:

    1. Using a term white oppressors and slave masters gave us.
    2. Letting someone else define us other than our own people.
    3. Calling ourselves something we are not.
    4. Buying into thee lie and the negative denotation. Check the dictionary.
    5. Being set apart in a way that no other ethnic group allows. Native Americans are not called Red Man. Asians are not called Yellow Man. Hispanics are not called Brown Man. They do not and will not accept being defined by color and by some other race or ethnic group at that.
    6. Ignoring our actual color (brown) which means brainwashing has worked. Any time someone can get an entire race, ethnic group or culture to ignore what they are and call themselves what they factually are not, THEY HAVE BEEN INDOCTRINATED, ASSIMILATED AND BRAINWASHED.
    7. Playing right into the oppressor’s profiles and stereotypes. Did you know studies show there is a different perception of black people than there is of African Americans? Words create perceptions and perceptions create actions towards us.

WAKE UP. You know your colors. And even though others around the world equated our ancestors with the color of the soil in Africa or the meaning of negro/negroid, that does not change the fact that WE ARE BROWN – NOT BLACK.
Facts are facts and YOU ARE BROWN, NOT BLACK. When you receive the revelation of why they keep calling African Americans “black” and Caucasian people “white”, you may just wake up!

STOP LETTING OTHER GROUPS DEFINE YOU WITH AN OBVIOUS LIE that we have heard and accepted so much that we believe it’s true and forget our colors. The de-programming has to take root or African Americans will forever be defined, limited and oppressed by those who get us to accept a lie.
