(ThyBlackMan.com) Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will feature new team battles. As expected, the game is set in Greece. Ubisoft is taking RPG route for the upcoming game which is set for a 2018 release. Ubisoft announced some new gameplay features for the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game. We believe that the new game will bring many unforgettable moments like the other games from the series. Before you explore more of the new game, here we have picked 7 best Assassins Creed moments from the game series.
- Confrontation – Assassin’s Creed: Unity
Glitches aside, Arno’s fight with his mentor Bellec is one of the most heart-touching moments in the Assassin’s Creed game series. The fight lasts for around 10 minutes. In ten minutes, you get to see many thought-provoking scenes and dialogues. The fight with Bellec led many fans to believe that Arno did the right thing by not 
accepting Bellec’s offer. This event left some fans wondering why he did not. Released in 2014, Assassin’s Creed: Unity couldn’t do wonders. But this scene shows how the entire game’s story should have been. We expect something similar from the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gameplay.
- Siege of Viana – Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood
Brotherhood game is a masterpiece developed by Ubisoft Montreal. The fight with Cesare Borgia is another gem that deserves to be on this list of 7 best Assassin’s Creed moments. Aggressive dialogues, music, enemy groups, and in-game environment make the fight more appealing to watch. The gameplay is difficult and challenging. The best and the most touching part of the fight is the moment when Ezio leaves Cesare “in the hands of Fate.”
- Blackbeard fighting the British troops – Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag
Whenever someone will talk about Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, Edward Thatch, and his last words will always be remembered. Known as Blackbeard, Thatch’s dialogues and his character were some of the most memorable things in the game series. Ubisoft has designed this heartbreaking death scene in a way that it leaves you helpless. You watch Blackbeard dying and even when you are standing a few meters away from him, you can’t save him.
- Ezio Meets Altair – Assassin’s Creed: Revelations
The game was criticized by many fans and when it was launched in 2011. Revelations didn’t bring any groundbreaking features except for the flashbacks and the beautiful setting. But the scene where Ezio Meets Altair Ibn-La’Ahad is one of the best moments from the Assassin’s Creed series. From dialogues to music, and camera movements, everything looks so perfect in this scene.
- Desmond Kills Lucy – Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood
Without a physical presence, Juno could only use the Apple Desmond holds to take control of his body. Juno uses this opportunity in Brotherhood to kill Lucy as she forces Desmond to stab Lucy in the stomach. Desmond kills Lucy with a hidden blade which is an unforgettable moment. The killing of Lucy brings a shocking twist and leads Desmond to fall into a coma. Watching Desmond killing Lucy under emotional stress is painful. At the same time, players get to see how Lucy was playing the role of a double-agent. Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gameplay will be packed with action and romance. So, we can expect such beautifully designed events happening in the upcoming game.
- Death of Haytham Kenway – Assassin’s Creed III
The character of Haytham never got the attention it deserved. Ubisoft made a tear-jerking event in the game which is one of the best moments in Assassin’s Creed game series. Haytham attacks Connor and starts with more power initially. Connor stabs him in the arm and eventually stabs him again in the neck. Haytham falls as he becomes unconscious and then he dies. In his last moments, Haytham delivers some mind-blowing dialogues. The sad flute music breathes life into the scene.
- Public Execution – Assassin’s Creed III
Enemies taking Connor for public execution is one of the most memorable moments in the Assassin’s Creed game series. The angry crowd and the music make the scene more interesting. When you play the game for the first time, it looks like Connor will certainly snatch rifle and run away at any moment. But there are many twists as he walks. The way music changes with every step Connor takes is impressive. Finally, the time comes when Connor reaches the execution area and then he is saved in a dramatic move.
Ubisoft will release Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on October 5, 2018. The game will change the way combat takes place in the series. Apart from the game’s new setting, there will be so much more for new and long-term franchise fans. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
