(ThyBlackMan.com) Sony’s highly anticipated PS4 exclusive game Marvel’s Spider-Man is coming on September 7. Insomniac Games, the talented team of game developers has been working on the Spider-Man PS4 game for the last couple of years. Finally, we have got some more interesting details about the game other than its release date.

It was E3 2016 when we got to hear about the PS4 exclusive title. Since then, Insomniac and Sony Interactive together have been keeping the Spider-Man PS4 gameplay details under wrap. Recently, the studio revealed some new details about the game and gave us a glimpse of the game’s story, combat and special costumes of Peter Parker.

How Combat System in Marvel’s Spider-Man Works

The upcoming game allows players to use the in-game environment to their advantage. Especially in combats in Spider-Man PS4, you can use objects as weapons and as cover. You can throw and pull objects to take enemies down. With the new Spider-Man game, Insomniac aims to deliver a different kind of experience with Peter Parker. The storyline won’t be completely different than the original one and Spider-Man will be well-versed with the moves we have seen in the movies, comics but the character will get many new abilities.

Players will be able to mix the new abilities together and swap between new moves during combat. The Spider-Man will also use a wide array of web abilities and gadgets. A video released by the studio showcases how players can make different combinations of abilities and ways to use them.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 game, the developer has also added crafting abilities. Players will be able to craft gears for the main mission and side quests. There will be rewards for completing side missions.

How Gadgets Work in Marvel’s Spider-Man

A wide range of gadgets will be available in the game, which players will be able to use, and upgrade as they progress. The tools Spider-Man uses include a tripwire, web bomb, and spider-drone. Insomniac hasn’t revealed everything about the game so fans can expect more surprises when the game launches in September.

Tripwire in Spider-Man PS4 game is a blue-colored wire setup which can be placed on an object or an enemy. When placed on a wall, a tripwire shoots and catches anyone who walks by the highlighted area. If you’re putting it on an enemy, it will do the same to a nearby enemy bundling both of them in webs. Spider-drone flies in the air and shoots out webs. It is a great tool to trap and distract enemies.

The web bomb appears to be a useful item to carry as it works like a grenade and can come handy in tough situations when you’re surrounded by a group of enemies or are required to do many things. When thrown, a web bomb shoots out webs at enemies and holds them for a certain period of time. As you progress through the game, you can upgrade its ability to hold enemies still for a long time.

The Costumes You’ll See in Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4

The game developer Insomniac has confirmed there will be different suits. The studio has revealed details about some of the suits while some of them were spotted by fans and are believed to be available in the final game either as unlockable items or as a part of DLC packs. The Spider-Punk suit is a part of the pre-order offerings. It includes a sleeveless blue denim jacket that gives spidey funky look, especially with a Mohawk.

The Noir costume is a dark suit with no special ability attached to it (or probably kept hidden from fans). Since there are too many costumes in the Spider-Man PS4 game, this is probably one of the common ones. Other than the two suits, fans can also expect to see a Wrestling Suit, Iron Spider Suit and Venom Suit in the game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is now available for preorder. You can choose from three different editions including the Collector’s Edition, Super Deluxe Edition, and Standard Edition.
