(ThyBlackMan.com) During a special anniversary event, Capcom introduced Mega Man 11, a new game which is set to arrive in 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. The idea of controlling the classic blue character in a game is absolutely amazing, but the game is bringing a lot more in terms of gameplay. In fact more than what players can imagine. Recently, Capcom shared some more details about the Mega Man 11 gameplay. Read on to check what’s coming next year.

Capcom has made sure that anyone can enjoy playing the game by choosing from the four different difficulty levels. It is like providing the most suitable option for the beginners, casual players, those who enjoy normal difficulties and players who love hard games. The superhero mode is really very challenging, while the casual and newcomers can check the first two modes.

The biggest change the new Mega Man game brings is an entirely different gameplay mechanic. From small to big actions, the changes in gameplay mechanic affect your gameplay experience, and players will actually feel it while playing the video game. Thankfully, the changes are positive and do not take away the core ideas, but significantly improve your point-to-point actions, balancing and difficulties.

In the new game, managing the abilities is not tricky anymore. In the previous games, players couldn’t quickly switch between the superpowers, but in Mega Man 11, switching between these abilities is easier than before. For the new Mega Man game, Capcom has combined all the elements that worked well in the previous titles. So those thinking that the developer has changed the game a lot needs to know that the game is still the same with all the core elements of gameplay, but what you are not going to see is the same visuals from early 90’s.

The new Mega Man offers the modern anime-inspired look and his helmet’s shape also changes when Mega Man uses some special powers. Traditionally, there was a simple change in colors whenever the character uses a new robot master weapon, but this time, you will see a big improvement in these elements as well.

With Mega Man 11, players will see that the game developers have tried to simplify the selection process of robot masters. In the previous games, players could easily guess what weapons they need and what powers they need to kill specific bosses, while the selection process became complex. So, with the new game, developers are keeping the challenging elements in place but it’s now easier to understand the relation between a robot master and their weapon and how it is going to affect the gameplay.

One of the best things is that the game still offers the classic challenge we experienced in the previous Mega Man games. Now when the game is getting ready to appear on the latest console, it is not breaking the trend the franchise has set in form of challenging gameplay. The developers have released a trailer and it clearly shows that the platforming will require players to practice before they clear those tricky levels. Robot Master weapons will be playing a multi-functional role in the upcoming game.

The upcoming Mega Man game from Capcom is the first proper game in the series since the launch of Mega Man 10. The developer has focused on delivering 2.5D gameplay experience instead of the retro 8-bit style gaming. Along with the new game, Capcom also confirmed that the Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will also be available on Nintendo Switch next year. The retro collections are currently available on the Xbox One and PS4. Capcom also confirmed that it will bring all eight games in the Mega Man X series and the series will be available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch as well. The developer has not shared any official release date for the same. About the Mega Man 11 release, the company has confirmed that the game will be released in late 2018.
