(ThyBlackMan.com) Bandai Namco announced Black Clover: Project Knights game for PS4 and PC, and the game is scheduled for 2018 release. The developer released a trailer for the game which is based on the popular manga series Black Clover. This is the first adaptation of the series and it is being said that the company will soon release more details about the game.
The Black Clover: Project Knights release announcement came as a surprise for fans as the TV show started just a few weeks ago. Black Clover is originally a Japanese manga series written by Y?ki Tabata. The series is published in Japanese a magazine and in the United States also it is being published with English translation.
The story of the series is focused on an ordinary young boy who was born with no special magical powers. The boy, named Asta, is on a 
mission to become the Wizard king. He learns new abilities and with the help of his friends, the young boy aims for his goal. The anime series began airing on October 3 this year in Japan.
The information Bandai Namco has shared so far confirms that the game will be released on the PC through Steam and other digital platforms. The game will also be available for PlayStation 4 players. The developer did not share any details regarding why there’s no release information available for the game’s Xbox One and Nintendo Switch release. Fans on those two platforms are sad as many of them watch the anime series which began airing in the English language from December 2nd. The only timeframe we have got is 2018.
Bandai Namco has created a website for the Black Clover: Project Knights game which indicates that the studio is planning to reveal more details in the coming days, but there are chances that the company will likely take a little longer to share some significant details. The trailer released by the developer doesn’t feature anything specific. The 16-second long trailer released by the developer doesn’t showcase anything solid about the gameplay as well.
The trailer video shows a huge fort developed in the traditional style of Japanese architecture. The footage is captured on the PS4 version of the game which means that a playable version is available at present. The fort and its surroundings appear in blue flashing lights which is a common setting for magical fantasy worlds in almost every popular franchise including Disney. The next scene shows a piece of green land with a pathway. The third scene, which is probably a part of some ruined fort showcases the inside structure of a big hall where a Knight is standing with two swords in his hand.
If you compare the Black Clover: Project Knights with other anime-based games, you will see that this series has got video adoption very quickly. The manga has been around for several years, but recently it got its TV adaptation. As long as the popularity of the series is concerned, it should be noted that the manga is very popular in the print. According to sales reports, 4.2 million copies of the series were sold in print. Now when the TV adaptation is reaching new heights, Bandai Namco is quick in partnering with the franchise and now the first game of the series is coming next year.
There are three main characters in the Black Clover series including Asta, Yuno, and Noelle Silva. There’s one magic knight named Julius Nova Chrono, while there are several squads with many characters. How much of the series will be portrayed in Black Clover: Project Knights is still a mystery. The main character of the series Asta uses an anti-magic sword. His sword can nullify the effect of any form of magic in the world which is completely based on magic. The sword can also absorb the magical power of the opponents.
