(ThyBlackMan.com) Sony has revealed almost everything which will be a part of the PlayStation Experience 2017 announcements. The company also confirmed that all the biggest announcements for the year were revealed at E3 and Paris Games Week, but there will be some special announcements during the show. Sony said that it has saved some “stocking stuffers” for the event, and on December 9, two legendary developers will announce their new PS VR title.

PlayStation Experience 2017 will be held from December 9 and the notable announcements include the discussion on Dreams, a sandbox video game developed by Media Molecule exclusively for Sony’s PlayStation 4. In its official blog post, Sony said that the studio directors Siobhan Reddy, Alex Evans, and Mark Healey will be accompanied by a special guest and the team will share more details about the upcoming game.

At PSX 2017, fans will get to see more details about the recently announced Ghost of Tsushima by Sucker Punch. Sony said that it will reveal the details about the game’s journey from the concept to its reveal. During the event, the developers will share concept art and visuals. Some more details about the game will be revealed and there are chances that the studio will hint at the possible release date.

The Last of Us Part II cast members will join fans at PlayStation Experience 2017 event. The game is still under development and is expected to be released sometime in 2018. The game serves as the sequel to the popular The Last of Us game developed by Naughty Dog.

If you’re in Anaheim, California on December 9 and 10, you can join the video game enthusiasts at Anaheim Convention Center. Those who will attend the event will be able to try some new game demos. Some of the most popular PlayStation 4 games will also be available on Sony’s 4K HDR TV sets. Sony will also bring PlayStation VR demos to the show. Attendees will be able to speak with game developers and get exclusive merchandise.

A special event will take place on December 8 for those who will be buying tickets early. During the special event, attendees can meet some key people from PlayStation and some game developers as well. Sony has released a list of around 90 game development studios who will be attending the event and there will be over 50 games available to play, and around 20 playable VR games will be put for attendees.

Sony has also partnered with Capcom and the duo is organizing a special Street Fighter V competition during the PlayStation Experience 2017 event. There will be a special level for the competition and the matches will take place on Sunday. The grand finale will be on the same day and the top qualifying players will struggle to make their way to $370,000 prize money and the chance to win the 2017 Street Fighter V World Champion crown.

It’s not possible for everyone to reach California and attend the PlayStation Experience 2017 event. Just like many other gamers, you can watch the event while sitting at your home. You will, of course, miss the chance to get your hands on hundreds of video games, but you can watch the discussions and special announcements directly from your comfort zone. As Sony clearly admitted that there won’t be any big announcements at this year’s show, but there are some upcoming games everyone is excited about. For some potential updates for the next year and beyond, you can tune it.

If you are not going to California, you can watch the show at the Sony’s PlayStation website itself. But if you want alternatives to make sure that you don’t miss any moments, Sony will live stream the event on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube on its official channel, so you can join thousands of PlayStation lovers.
