(ThyBlackMan.com) Geographic information, science and technology (GIST) is a growing field that is calling out for graduates. The US Department for Labor is currently touting the importance of this field and has named it a high growth industry. If you’re currently unsure of what to do for a career, this is definitely a field worth considering.
Salaries in the GIST field are currently estimated to be between $30,000 and $90,000 depending on the job that you did. An online GIST degree can prepare you to work for the government, in transportation, for law enforcement, in health and human services, or in engineering and surveying. There are dozens of jobs inside each of these fields, and you’re almost guaranteed a job upon graduating.
