(ThyBlackMan.com) December 12 is the day when Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be set to welcome two DLC packs and the RE7 gold edition. Earlier this year, Capcom released a video apology in April saying that the free ‘Not a Hero’ DLC couldn’t come on time as more time was needed to polish the work. The statement released by the company suggested that they will later release the DLC with more content. Recently, the company confirmed that the free DLC will be available for all the game owners and on the same date, a paid DLC called End of Zoe will also be made available. Capcom will also release the Resident Evil: Biohazard Gold Edition in December.

Not a Hero Free DLC

The DLC pack features events after the main story of the Resident Evil 7. Players will be taking control of Chris Redfield, a highly trained professional capable of tackling the outbreak. With new weapons, players will be on a new mission where they will be experiencing a different level of survival horror using enhanced weaponry.

The mission is to capture a suspect who is said to be responsible for the entire outbreak at the Baker plantation. The tactical weaponry includes a HUD to help the players check data and there’s also a handgun available for players. The handgun is called Albert-01. Redfield will never run out of the ammo and with a powerful auto shotgun, he becomes a highly character who can tackle the outbreak with weapons and punches.

End of Zoe Paid DLC

Coming this December, End of Zoe will be available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC for $14.99. It is a new episode which will be included as a part of the season pass (those who purchased) and can also be purchased separately. According to Capcom, this installment will let the players explore the life of Zoe Baker’s and her fate. This new episode will introduce new enemies and a new area.

Zoe Baker belongs to the Baker family who use to terrorize Ethan (the game’s protagonist) in RE 7. Zoe helped the protagonist Ethan in the game but what the future holds for her remains a secret. Capcom has not revealed any specific details about the DLC pack. A picture shared by the company on its official website showcases a house and a body hanging on a rope.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition

Those who haven’t yet played the game, December 12 is the best time to join the bandwagon as Capcom will release a Gold edition. The edition will include base game, the Banned Footage Volume 1 and 2 and the new DLC pack End of Zoe.

Since the Not a Hero DLC is completely free, those who own the game will be able to download and play it for free from their respective console/PC stores. The Gold edition in both digital and retail will be available at US$49.99.

The game developers at Capcom have taken care of every small detail this time. Going back to the game’s root was the best decision from the game developers and it finally saved the franchise. A perfect combination of exploration, combat, horror and in-game items make Resident Evil 7 one of the best horror survival games. With the new RE Engine and a strong plot, Resident Evil franchise has got a very good treatment this year. By dramatically changing the gameplay to the first-person point of view, the players get more control over the world and surroundings.

Taking place after the events of Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Not a Hero DLC adds a new experience to the game in which players will be taking control of a different character. As a New Umbrella member, Chris and other members set up a strategy to tackle the enemies. The paid DLC, on the other hand, solves the mystery of what happens to Zoe. The Gold edition brings together all of these experiences and delivers all the content released till date in a single package.
