The Systemic Criminalization Of Young Urban Girls By The Colonial Educational System In America.

(ThyBlackMan.com) Recently, I saw a video of an intellectual urban female scholar named Dr. Monique Morris discussing disturbing disparities between how colonial girls are treated vs how urban girls are treated by the colonial educational system.

In the colonial schools across America, particularly those in predominant urban areas, urban girls are also the targets of criminalization and victimization by the colonial educational system as much as their urban male peers.

Urban girls as young as 5 years old are seen by the public school system as “adults“, “less innocent“, and “less in need of protection” than young little Beckies by this colonial educational system as well.

Urban girls are often being psychologically assaulted by colonial (mostly female) teachers calling them names like b***h, n***a, monkey, ape, h*e, or even a t**t. And plus they are also being physically assaulted by armed thuggish police officers at the schools when they’re being tazed, pepper sprayed, and even being fiercely thrown to the ground and having a knee dug into their back that leaves them with psychologically and physically injuries that can be difficult for some urban girls to overcome.

Urban girls are also criminalized in the form of these disgusting, discriminatory, and vicious “dress code” policies that the school systems across the country have implemented to systemically target and criminalize urban girls that decide to take a righteous stand against these blatantly discriminatory “dress code” policies.

One example of urban girls fighting back against the criminalization of them via “dress code” is when about a year ago, a high school in a predominant urban area in Florida, a 17 year old urban female senior was forced by a school administrator with a police officer by her side to remove her head wrap because it was in violation of the “dress code” and the young urban female student felt personally humiliated by the request and she made a call to an African women’s organization and the urban female president told her to put the headwrap back on.

The next day, another urban female student also came to school wearing her headwrap to show support to her fellow sister. And those same administrator and police officer attempted to harass the two students until they say both urban female students wearing them together.

And then other urban students banded together in unity and support by wearing daishikis and head wraps to school everyday until the dress codes are completely overturned.

Urban girls are also criminalized and suspended at a far disproportionate rate than the so-called “pretty” colonial girls for minor things that colonial girls get away with like playing with their hair, moving around too much in class, and even standing up to a colonial teacher’s negative comments about them. And criminalization + suspension = Incarceration into the prison system.

The school system in general is very harmful and destructive to the self-esteem and well being of young urban girls because the schools system is part of a much bigger, corrupt, and corrosive force called The State because it only works in the best interest of The State to ensure that urban girls never become psychologically intelligent and mature as well as crushing their dreams and aspirations.

The Conclusion – Not only do I advocate heavily for homeschooling, but I also advocate for Black Community Control Of Schools Black Community Control Of Schools in which more black teachers, to provide a curriculum that boost up the morale and self-esteem of urban students and to create after school programs where our kids can showcase their natural abilities and talents without being harmed by colonial (mostly female teachers) and police officers.
