(ThyBlackMan.comOur time here on earth is a precious gift, and we should treat it as such. But too often we waste time doing things that aren’t really important or productive in our lives. When we could be doing the thing that would be benefiting ourselves or others. That is why it is useful to take an inventory of how we are using our time and make sure that we are spending it wisely. Read on to find out more.

Plan out your days

There are only 24 hours in the day, but have you noticed that some folks get some amazing things done, while others don’t seem to achieve much anything at all? Well, that is because some people are much better at managing their time than others.

But, if this is something that you struggle with, don’t worry, because time management is a skill that can be learnt. Just like reading or writing.

The first step to managing your time efficiently is to start to plan out your days. You can do this in a planner, or diary or even on your phone or computer if you are more of a 21st guy.

Planning out your days will show you exactly where you need to be and when, and for what purpose. Making it much more likely that you will achieve the things that you want to get done and be a lot more productive.

Stop wasting time

The next step to becoming a time management master is to take an inventory of how you are currently spending your days. Is there space where you aren’t really doing much? Or are there actives that are taking way longer then they should do?

For example, you might be getting your haircut every few weeks, and that means the travel time to and from the barbers, as well as the time, spent in the chair itself.

But have you ever asked yourself, whether it would it be easy to start to cut your own hair at home with a system like Flow Bee? To decide, check out this article on what everyone ought to know about the Flowbee Haircutting System. Then you can see if this is something that could help save some of your precious time.

Or you might spend a lot of time in the evening in front of the TV? While it is important to do something that you love and be able to relax, remember even God rested on the 7th day! Do you really need to watch fours hours of programming a day? Could your time be better spent going to the gym, volunteering at a charity, or even doing jobs around the house once a week?

Realize the impact that your time can have on others

Lastly, the trick to becoming a time management master is to realize the true value of your time. Remember that we are not just here for the good of ourselves but for other also, and our time can be truly valuable to them.

That means some of your time can be used to improve your community, fight for a cause that is close to your heart, study, or even provide some support to our relative and friends.
