(ThyBlackMan.com) Lamar Odom seems to be in better spirits since he has moved on from his marriage to Khloe Kardashian with someone new. However, after facing rumors of a new romance with his brunette mystery woman, with whom he was seen at Delilah in West Hollywood and later in Beverly Hills. In addition to spending time with his publicist, Lamar Odom has been seen with his kids a couple of times recently. In fact, just days ago, the former Los Angeles Laker was seen in an Instagram photo that featured him standing in front of a Christmas tree with his daughter, Destiny, his son, Lamar Jr, and Liza Morales, the children’s mother.
As Us Weekly previously reported, the former couple’s separation has been a long process thus far. Kardashian first filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013, after four years of marriage. She then withdrew the papers to serve as Odom’s caretaker after his near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in October 2015. According
to the magazine, Kardashian welcomed Lamar Odom back into her family with open arms, but after she allegedly discovered he was using again, she cut ties with him completely. “Khloe had to put her foot down and stop helping him out,” an insider previously told the magazine. “She can’t watch him fall apart again.”
Khloe Kardashian went back and forth with her decision on whether or not she was going to divorce Lamar during a time he was weak and using drugs heavy. The tug of war of whether to stay married or not may have been the reason why it took him so long to get clean. In the months following the divorce filing, the former Los Angeles Lakers forward made a full recovery after being in a coma for a few weeks. He then rehabilitated at a rental home near Kardashian’s mansion in Calabasas, California. In May Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce a second time. Last week, Us Weekly exclusively reported that Odom “is the best he has been in many months” after a summer filled with weed smoking, drinking heavily and visiting strip clubs.
With the divorce settlement being reached it is being questioned why the divorce took so long to reach. As Odom and Kardashian didn’t have any children. Does Khloe have fertility concerns, or did she not want children by Lamar Odom as he has a daughter and son of his own?
We are all glad to see Lamar Odom doing well and moving on whether he is dating his publicist or not. It’s obvious he is progressing and his publicist, Eve Sarkisyan-Nunn, is treating him well. He hasn’t relapsed and is steadily getting better.
